You obviously havnt done any research on this whatsoever. I would start with that.
The MX-3 comes with 3 different motors over the years. The V6 however, never changed and has always been the same motor. It is commonly referred to as a K8. The other two are both 4 bangers and they dont count jk If you wish to swap your motor, there are several common and relatively easy engine swaps available. The KL-ZE is a 2.5L J-Spec motor that bolts up to our car perfectly with a few very minor modifications. It has ~197hp and ~165 torque and can bring your MX into the 14s on the quarter. A ZE swap will run you roughly 2000$ CDN for a basic swap. Mine cost close to 3000$ but that's cuz I bought a few extra goodies. The KL-DE, aka the KL-03 also bolts up just as easily as the KL-ZE. It has ~160hp and ?? torque (the number eludes me at the moment). It will commonly bring you into the 15s. KL-03's can be bought for around 500$ CDN and a swap should cost you around 1200-1500$ The JSpec K8 also fits, it has 10 more hp than the stock ASpec K8 (130 +10 = 140hp). I have no clue for pricing for this motor, and I have yet to hear about anyone with any experience with this motor. If you wanna go cheap-o, then buy a used K8 for like 200-300$ CDN and drop it in. Shouldn't cost you much more than 400-600$ for a stock K8 swap.
