1986 Ford two-door LTD Price

Dear Community,

I am a research assistant at the University of Chicago Crime Lab.

My boss is doing some research where for some reason he needs to know what the [b]blue book value in 1996 would have been for a 1986 Ford two-door LTD [b/] (so it would have been 10 years old at the time).

I have been looking everywhere and can't seem to find an answer. Any pointers are appreciated!

Thank you

Re: 1986 Ford two-door LTD Price

I just found this 3 weeks later.

Take this number with the requisite grain of salt.

In 1996, a 2 door 1987 Chevrolet Caprice Classic would have gone for around $4500-5000. This is the closest competitor to the 2 door Ford Crown Victoria LTD. Add one year to that, my answer will be close to above - around $4000-4500.
