Honda Odyssey smart maintenance display
Does anyone know how to reset the smart maintenance on the Honda Odyssey? I recently change the oil in my 2005 Odyssey and the oil life still reads 40%. Any Thoughts?

Kinda the wrong area for this question, but you might try asking your local dealership, they'd probably tell or show you how to for free.

go to the dealership and try to keep the posts in the thread specific to the question, although its not a huge deal...

Re: Honda Odyssey smart maintenance display
Hold down the odometer reset button and turn the ignition switch to accessory for about 10 seconds. Light will reset.

Re: Honda Odyssey smart maintenance display
There's actually a different technique for the maintenance minder. The engine can be off or on. Scroll to where it has the oil percentage displayed. Press and hold the trip/reset button until the percentage flashes. Let the button go and then press it again until the reading is 100%. Don't ignore the maintenance codes as there are no more mileage based services with your van. ie 30k,60k,105k. You will have main items A and B and sub items 1-5. Refer to your owner's manual for the meanings.
