Aftermarket clutch and pressure plate
I am replacing the clutch/pressure plate/flywheel on a 2001 Mirage 1.5L. I am curious about ordering aftermarket parts. The entire assembly as ordered from Parts America is, like, half the price of the dealer. The dealer looked up the parts by VIN and told me that there were so many body styles with the Mirage that the exact part had to be ordered by him.
So my question is, am I better off ordering through the dealer? If I pulled of the transaxle and discovered that the cheaper clutch didn't fit I think I would beat my head against the wall... Thanks in advance all! |
