I have a 2001 dodge dakota, VERY good shape, only 110k km's on it, brand new set of year round tires, just installed before the winter, no rust, new parts have been put in over the last year.
Im looking to sell it, but i dotn know what price range i should advertise it for, what should i be asking for this vehicle ? |

Re: What would this be worth? i have no idea
Theres many ways to get an estimate on what its worth. When I'm buying or selling I always get the tax value from your clerks office, get the loan value from the bank, get the kelly blue book value, the NADA value which is closer than the kelly blue book. If you are going to trade it in and you know someone with the black book car dealers use, that is what they will try to give you but you can get more because they want to try and give you the whole sale price. The whole sale price is what they give for it at auction. They also sell a NADA book to the public to look up car prices and sometimes its worth buying if you want to get the best deal. What you may get out of your vehicle will pay for the book. And finely if all else fails take it to a car lot you don't plan on buying from, ask what they will give, fight for the best price and tell them you will have to think about it and that will give you a close estimate. Rememeber that selling a vehicle for much over the loan value makes it hard sometimes for some people to come up with the cash. But if its worth it, you may have to be patient.

Check your local craigslist section to see what that type of car in that condition is going for in your area. I just recently moved to SC from FL and I notice a big difference in the price of cars here than back at home.
