always blowing heat
i just bought a 95 ls and when im going down the road like 60 there is always heat coming in even when i have the switch onto cold. Now this car has been wreck and had another stock motor put into it. But arnt they suppose to have 2 radiator fans on the radiator? This car only has one but i dont know if that would have anything to do with it or not.?

do you have A/C? the second fan is for A/C.
I think most older cars will have a slight draft of warm air coming through the vents while off, have you tried putting it on the lowest blower setting whith the temp gauge on cold? if it still blows hot even with the blower on and the setting on cold I would say you have a problem otherwise I would say its normal.

well I dunno what to say but crack a window. My integra is similar, if the blower is set to off the vents will still "seep" a little warm air into the car. I think it is normal of any older car. A good remedy is to crank up the A/C or open your windows.
Also if it is set on cold and just the blower is on but not A/C I believe it is just sending you air from outside or recirculating the inside air which on a hot day can be quite warm as well, and not so cold as the temp setting would have you think. My previous car, a 96 plymouth neon, was so bad it even sounded like the blower was on when it was off, i mean you could turn it all off and feel and hear a distinct whoosh of air being sent through the vents, it really sucked I don't think I even ever put the windows up in the summer (rain or shine).... not that I could put the windows up in that POS...

Re: always blowing heat
it is possible that the door that allows outside air to enter the cabin and the blend air door may be going bad. normally these doors have a foam insulation around the edge....if these deteriorate...then you could have air seeping through and across the heater core and out through the vents. just a possibilty.
