Suzuki Samurai JX

Hi guys, here's my newest project.

Suzuki Samurai JX. It was sitting in my pile for years, but finally I started this modelkit. Because the fueltank of the caferacer (see motorbikes) needs a new layer of clear, I decided to start this Suzuki as a quick build. The left over clearcoat will be sprayed on this model.

Because I sold the wheels a few years ago, I needed a new set of wheels. I found the Long Champ XR4 from Aoshima and fitted a set of thicker tyres on them to give it a more 4x4 look.

Painted the body, and added a few decals. Suzuki logo on the back is from a Hayabusa

Re: Suzuki Samurai JX

After the clearcoat was dry, I masked off the body and painted the black areas with X-18 Semigloss Black.

The wheels were painted black also.

And I assembled the chassis together.

And made a start on the interior.
