1992 Heater Motor Repair
Greetings,
My prizm has a heater control switch that is stuck and will not go past the low speed, which does not help with defrosting very much. I was told that this probably is caused by a faulty heater motor. If so, I need to know how to get to heater motor. I think I need to remove the lower instrument panel. How do you do that. Thanks, |

Re: 1992 Heater Motor Repair
Does if physically not go past low or just the motor won't respond to each position past low?
If a physical problem, you can replace the switch, if electrical, replace the resistor block under the passenger foot area on the firewall. Refer to the manual for replacement. Common problem on these cars. |
