Wondering how to set my car up nice
Hi i currently am running a Stock 1996 Maxima GLE
i was wondering if they made hydraulic shocks so i could lower or raise the stance of my car at the push of a button also i was wondering how much a stillen cold air intake, mass air flow system, exhaust, and body kit would total Thanks Chris |

Stillen Cold air intake does not exist, only the high flow intake.
Mass air flow system, don't need it. Exuast, $100-$200 for the muffler, then another $100 to 2 for custom 2 and 1/4 inch piping from the cat back, no resignator. (8hp) Body kit from Stillen, bout' $1000 if you don't have the hook up. Hydros, not worth it. get Eibach pro-kit and Tokico shocks. Fit some 18 inch racing harts and you'll be straight. Oh try a supercharger or NOS.

You can get custom airbags done, but it will run u $3G's

email alex at southwest auto works he has a airbag kit for $1800.00
I wouldnt get no eibachs thats no drop and big nasty gap on the fenderwells I d go with sprints or coilovers, and some konis or kyb agx from custommaxima.com, a kit will run you $1000.00 or less most like less from avalonracing.com or buy it from a maxima.org member if they are selling one, and place racing makes the CAI just get it from greg at custommaxima as well good guy to buy from. and thats about all the advice I can give you I dont know nothing about NOS.

do i understand correctly that you cannot use nos and have a s/c at the same time on the same engine? just out of curiosity.

You can, you just have to be really careful about running lean, deffinetly need a good EGT gauge, and I would recommend building up the internals before going over a 50 shot on boost...

Thanx for all the help guys. Well, I was about to put some NoS in my Maxima but I have to take my girlfriend for a trip down south , so I need the money for later, damn, I luv cars but puss* is even better , hehe. Later all.
BTW - I was racing this Civic Si on the highway 2 dayz ago and he almost kicked my ass. HOW COME ???? He was able to take a lead really fast but then I would get to him, pass him and he does the same think again ???? WTF, is it dry nitro or what, he has a 4 banger vs a 6 banger on the highway at ~ 95 mph. Is it possible to use the Nitro just like a t/c ??? Thanx again. |
