i do agree that infinity's are well made. the highest quality i have seen next to alpine. i put 550W RMS into it for about 2 months and it blew. not surprising though its way over the RMS of the sub. its a good sub.

Yea Jason's IKP's weren't too shabby at all. And damn did those things get low in that 28hz box.
What's the coil conifg on your friend's subs?

home power is 120V @ 60 Hz. If you plug a 4ohn speaker into the outlet, it will draw 120^2/4 watts = 3600 watts RMS at 60 Hz. That's a LOT of power, if you don't blow the fuse

I wouldn't call them high quality or boast them too high, but they are great beginner subs IMO. |
