'97 Escort Problems...
All right, there are a few problems we have with our '97. One of the major problems is the fact that the alternator first went out, so we had that changed. After that alternator was replaced, a steering problem developed. (Kinda like turning the wheel in a Mack truck.) So we took it to a shop and they said that there was a problem with the power steering pump, so we replaced it. The problem still exists, plus this annoying squeaking that it coming from the drivebelt area when you turn the wheel. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem? I need help A.S.A.P. Thanks in advance.
