*STOLEN* Rays Nismo 370z Wheels - Philadelphia Area *STOLEN*
Hey guys,
This isn't a fun post by any means. Just wanted it to be known that my father's Red Nismo 370z had its wheels snatched by somebody while sitting outside the Nissan dealership in Philadelphia. The wheels had just been repaired along with some quarter panel work only to be stolen. The car was being worked on at Chapman Nissan near the Navy Yard. If you guys in the Philadelphia area could keep an eye out for a set of Rays 370z wheels that may or may not be claimed to just have had curb rash repair, I would appreciate any help. Please email me at jacobawahoo@gmail.com if you have any leads. I appreciate your care and concern more than you know. Thanks guys! Here are the photos of how the car was found in the morning: These are what the rims look like: |

Re: *STOLEN* Rays Nismo 370z Wheels - Philadelphia Area *STOLEN*
Jacob,
I certainly hope that you get your wheels back. I feel your pain. In the early 1990s, my Toyota Supra, wheels and all, was stolen off of the street in an upscale part of midtown Manhattan. The car's alarm went off, too, and, I ignored it, About ten days later, the NYPD recovered my car in pretty good shape. I was so happy. A few years later, that same Supra was parked in front of my apartment in the Queen Village neighborhood of South Philadelphia. At about 3:00am, I heard what sounded like my car engine start up. I got up and looked out the window only to find my parking space empty. I called 911 (it was a very quite night). The police showed up in about five minutes and then, to my surprise, instead of broadcasting the theft on the radio (after all, how far can a car get in five minutes on a quite night?) he said that it would be "in the computer in about twenty minutes.") I was very disappointed, even though I love the Philly Police in general, that they were worthless at this moment. I took it upon myself to call every police agency in the bi-state area - to no avail. I never saw the car again. But... I bought a new Supra so it kinda worked out after my initial disappointment. Anyway, I hope that it works out for you, one way or another. |
