Question Steering Wheel Controls

OK, so I noticed the car didn't come with the "standard" steering wheel controls (radio/volume/cruise control) as I was driving it away from the dealership, but I thought to my self "I'm sure there is still cruise control here somewhere.......well....where is it? I then I figured out it doesn't.

Ok so here is the question --> I there any way/has anyone ever heard of/anyone ever done/ installing the steering wheel controls package on later. I couldn't imagine that this is impossible. What I can't believe is that BMW makes cruise control an option, as part of the premium package. Give me a break.:monkeypis

No, it doesn't. And the 5-Series doesn't come with folding rear seats, either. And you can't get the folding rear seats unless you select the $3,000 Premium Package!

I think it's just a way to bring in additional money.
