Question Help, Looking at a '95 325i

I need some help from you 325i owners or 3 series in general. I am looking at a 95 325i with 59K miles on. It has leather and is loaded and looks decent. But the driver's side seat and armrest seem to be excessivley worn. It looks like it has been rubbed raw by someone getting in and out of the car alot. I expect some wear and tear but these are really bad scuffed up patches. Is this normal for the leather of BMW or is this just abuse/neglect? Thanks for the help in advance.

That's what happens under heavy use... it should help you on the pricing and you should be able to pick up some new seats for around 500.

Don't know if this is any help, but I recently purchased a '97 328i with 70,000 miles and the grey leather seats, and they're not visibly worn at all. I would take what you're seeing as evidence of frequent, short drives.
