Advice on Odyssey purchase

I need to replace my '96 Windstar minivan and am considering the Odyssey to fill that role. I'm nervous about a vehicle with a turbo, and it seems that no factory manual can be purchased which is also a concern.

Does anyone have any feedback on these vehicles that can address my concerns?

Are there model years that I should focus on or avoid?

Do many owners maintain and repair these vehicles themselves? Do many owners attempt repairs that are more complex than brake replacements and suspension repairs?

I owned a 1982 Honda Accord which did not need many repairs, although I had a factory service manual to aid in the ones that were needed. My most significant one was a bad bearing in the manual transmission. Is the Odyssey in the same class, little to no significant repairs? The Accord rusted badly after only 7 yrs, so I didn't own the car long enough to experience EOL of engine parts, etc.
