Stereo Electrical Help

I recently removed my stereo and put it back in and now when i turn on my headlights the sound no long comes out of the speakers even though the time continue to tick. If the headlights are on and i adjust the dash light dimness, buzzing noise comes out of the speakers with or without the radio on. What might be the electrical problem here?

So if the headlights are off then everything works fine, is that what you are saying? Somehow it sounds like the circuitry that feeds your lighting got crossed with a speaker wire.

Re: Stereo Electrical Help

Well the stereo will work for awhile and then eventually shut off. I think there is an exchange of current the entire time between systems.
