Need Help With '91 S10 Blazer

I have a '91 S-10 Blazer. I blew the 4.3L that was originally in it, and I just bought a 5.7L TBI to replace it. I'm getting new mounting brackets, and I'm using the 700R tranny that came with the 4.3. I might change the rear end so it can handle the 5.7. I'm going to get another radiator because I don't think the 4.3 radiator is going to cut it for the V8. I just wanted to know if there's anything else I need to do to complete my project. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Need Help With '91 S10 Blazer

i think that the 700r4 tranny from a 4.3 will bolt up ok but the shield for the flywheel i think is different had that problem with putting the 700r4 tranny from an s-10 blazer into a full size chevy pickup with a 350 also you may need to put electric fans in front of the rad. to cool the rad. depending on which rad. you use there may not be enough room for the fan from the engine to fit between the two
