Talking 3.8L install

So rumor has it that the Supercharged 3.8L will fit in the Beretta. Will it fit in a 95 Z-26? If so what does the install require? I am really interested in this as I have a Buick donor vehicle that got rear ended. Any info on a succesful install will be greatly appreciated, Thanks everybody.

Re: 3.8L install

Unless you have your heart set on it, pass. It is a very involved process that will cost more than the resulting car is worth. If the donor car is a 96-newer with OBD-II diagnostics, it will be even more difficult due to the incompatability of all the sensors with your car's hybrid OBD-I diagnostics.

Re: 3.8L install

I have a suggestion... this swap has been done in 82-96 A-bodies (Century, Ciera) by a fellow by the name of Dave Buckshaw.... he did this with an 83 Century T-type 4-door sedan, and the resulting car is NASTY.... I have no idea how to get in touch with him, but you might 411 him on the net...
