Call the distributor to find out what the offset is. I have the same size wheel/tire with 44 offset and it is tight..... They will have an even closer tolerance when she goes down about an inch. Have about 1/4 inch between my rear tires and the trailing arms. Also need to roll my rear fender lips.

off set is 42 i think.
I was wondering if they will rub?
I got fenderflares so I'm just hoping it won't because i'm getting a set of vx-k.
They come in 7, and 7.5 inches.
Does the width make any difference.
And what tire size will be needed for the 7 inch and the 7.5 inch.

i believe the offset is fine but beig it is soo wide, the inner control arm will rub against the rim.. i just talked to some guy who had that problem, and it only works if he leaves the camber to be negative, which is also bad. he grinded at his upper arm in the rear to relieve that problem.

your tire is too wide and doesn't match the stock height either.
Get 205/40/17.

You say that the inner control arm will rub. I have fender flares and was wonder if wheel spacers will fix that problem?

What is the offset on the velox vx-8 b1?
Did you put them on yet?
Did they rub?

225/40/18??????? apparently you didn't read the advice in the post above that said 215/40/17 is both taller and wider than the civic's stock configeration...... if you want 18's i would go with 215/35/18..... if you go with 225/40's you will be very sorry..... way too tall and way too wide...... big mistake.....and unless you have a huge kit your car is gonna look like your preparing to go off roading..... good luck
