Re: Photos of your rides here

Well, since I felt good enough to wash the Stealth I took some pictures. I'm going to do the brakes, shine the tires, remove the rear windshield wiper, and replace the shifter knob, boot, and e-brake boot. Now if I could only pick out some tweeters I could finish the stereo. Anyhow, I'll get some more pics and some pics of the GTC this weekend:

Re: Photos of your rides here

by removing the rear wiper blade do u mean removing the whole arm or just the blade itself? cause i've wondered how do u remove the whole arm...the spoiler doesnt allow for much give in pop up and remove.

I'm removing the entire arm. Sadly you have to remove the wing to do that. Here are a couple more pics:

Well, thanks. She's clean, but I've seen cleaner. Funny though, you guessed exactly why I chose a first gen Stealth over a VR4. However, I would buy a second gen VR4 over a Stealth for the same reason.

Re: Photos of your rides here

so where do you live thats a badass background!!!
yeah i would 2 so i guess it's like this 1st gen stealth > 1st gen 3000Gt
2nd gen 3000GT> 2nd gen stealth
3rd gen 3000GT> no stealth haha
acuatly i never really considered the 99 3000GT a new gen but most people do. also some people think the 97-98 are also a new gen. .... but w/e

Re: Photos of your rides here

i consider the 99 3kgt not a different gen just a special edition. if it went in the USA till like 01 or something then yea different gen. but if it had lasted till 01 i'm thinking they'd still b making it, cause the 350z came out the next yr

Re: Photos of your rides here

i don't think they would have because the eclispe became there sports coupe v6 in 2000. also they brought the evo to the usa in 2002 which is not the frist time they brought it to the usa. i hread that they had bought it over before but didn't sell good so they stop selling them in the usa. but i don't know if its true or not. oh and when they were here they were using the miarge ( or how ever you spell it) and the lancer. but like i said i don't know if it is true.

Re: Photos of your rides here

idk bout the evo...nothing much at all. just 4cyl with awd and around 295hp(evo X). never driven one, only seen 10 or so.

i can see what ur saying bout the eclipse...but dont u think that if they wanted to keep the GTO/3kgt they woulda uped the power to make it a different class.
only real reason they got rid of all the cars in the 3/s class(by 00) was because the american market was changing over to SUV and Vans. that little niche for the grand tourers went away basically. till 03 the only gt in around the same hp group woulda been a stang/camaro/and firebird. actually and the fact that for the price of a 99 vr4 u coulda gotten a vette...and by then the vettes had decent performance numbers. granted if u want a vette u get a vette if u want a japanesse sports car u get urself a jap sports car.

neways just a bit off-topic.

but yea polygon i love the background. if u could photoshop the church out and put more mountains u could probably seel it as a poster...hey even with the church u could. i'd buy one(i own a 92 stealth tt white, no one wuold ever know)
