Re: Dericing my teg *pics*

umm so more torgue isnt always the best thing its good. but is it a turbo car. no. if going n/a vtec is the only way (ok not only but best) to get there in a honda.

if ya want torque get a hick car, go v8.

Well firstly I am going Turbo, and second about the Hick car coment, more TQ is a good thing wether it be a V8 or a I4 ... a Non-VTEC having more TQ and a VTEC, specialy if the HP of the two are close the more TQ will help the non-VTEC to win in a race. That's just my opinion, I don't think it matters if it's a V8 or I4, more TQ is more good.

not enough to make a noticeable difference. The LS and GSR both have a shitty bottom end, and the GSR has an amazing top end, thanks to VTEC. I've driven both, teg LS and teg GSR and I've driven civics with both motors in them and I have always been more impressed with VTEC. I'm not saying that LSs are inferior, just that I prefer the GSR. Have you ever driven a powerful VTEC car? When VTEC kicks in I can't help but to smile great big, time after time.

I see where you're coming from, and no I have not driven a powerful VTEC car, I just like having that umph with out waiting for VTEC. My car is far from "powerful" but my friend's Si just doesn't have the the feel that I love so much from my B18A1 DOHC, when I step on the gas it goes and goes hard. Soon to be even harder once I work on my heads and get some more cash for my turbo. Lucky me I got another B18A1 with my car when I purchased it .

But I do understand where you are coming from now. I have nothing against VTEC, the TL Type-S with the I-VTEC is pretty peppy, I just hate the null before the VTEC switches cams.

Re: Dericing my teg *pics*

looks good, I would have left the bumpers and got some skirts, but good job ditching that Fugly tin-foiler though. and youre right about that vtec, its a good feling when it switches over, and I wasnt even in a real powerful car.

lol, you can't look at a car that's a work in progress and ask them to do something, believe me, everything you can think of has been thought of and will come when the time is right.
