Looking for Rims...
I have been looking for a nice set of rims for my 91 Town Car.
Unfortunately, all I can find are racing, and 'Ghetto' (for lack of a better word) rims. Where can I find some classy, elegant rims? Something more to the tune of Rolls Royce. That kind of style. I don't want 26" rims either. A 15" or 16" would look best on this car. ---Thanks |

Your gonna call me crazy....
But eBay has "take offs" from time-to-time... this is when a buyer requests another wheel and the dealer swaps them. Here's a sample: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33748 Here's another post that may help as well: http://www.lincolnsonline.com/cgi-bi...c&f=3&t=000414

Maybe a set of '00 Cartier rims would look nice.
I have 'photoshopped' a set of '98 Cartier on previously and they look good. I have also had it painted a month ago. No more crappy pink! Here is the pic of the '98 Cartier rims: The Palmero Rims: And the original: I like the Palmeros, but the smallest they have is 17" I sized them as 15" on the pic. I'll post the '00 Cartier after I am done editing it. Last edited by Dagon327; 06-19-2003 at 01:14 AM. |

Here are the '00 Cartier Rims:
And here are Calabrio: They remind me of Bow Ties. The Calabrio's come in 18" as the smallest, shown in the edited pic they are as 15". Too bad they don't have smaller rims, you'd really have to sacrifice the signature "Lincoln Ride" with the larger than 16" rims. |

They're a MEAN BITCH to clean!
From the photo of when it was pink, to the new paint, shows them cleaned up pretty well, and new tires. It took me 1 to 1 1/2 hours per rim to clean them up, All day long... Then I put dust shields up front. Maybe I'll leave them stock, I suppose they do look pretty good now, and especially with the new tires. Here is what they looked like before: Doesn't even look like the same car lol ! |
