2005 sonata noise
i have a 2005 sonata and every time i go over a bump that is a litle bigger than normal the rear underneath the car makes a banging noise like something is loose i visully checked underneath the car trying to manuly move stuff but couldnt find anything loose does anybody have any ideas as to what i should check more closely thanx

You might have already checked but, open trunk and lift the cover over spare tire , make sure the twist knob is very tight on tire and it doesn't move , plus check to make sure the jack and other stuff isn't loose ....

Check the top mounting bolt of the rear shocks, I recall reading about a problem there causing a noise like you describe.
