What's my problem (battery/alternator issues)?

Lately my car has been draining the battery pretty bad. I know there are a few drains that I need to address, but usually I was able to charge the battery with a charger. But a couple weeks ago my car shut off while driving and it said the battery was dead. Since then the battery charger doesn't show any progress, but I brought it to Kragen and they said the battery was "fine". But why isn't it charging? It's staying at 25%. This is with the battery disconnected from the car in my garage, so it can't be the alternator. Is the battery dead despite what they told me?

Thanks

If it died while driving, that almost always means your alt is not working. Or a voltage regulator problem. Have your alt tested.

If the battery wont take a charge, then you can try filling it with water and charging it again. Unless its a sealed unit, then it needs replacing.
