Re: MY Eleanor 1967 Shelby Mustang WIP

Really beautifully done Sam
best "Eleanor" I've seen - lots of added detail and customizing
my only question is do you not think the "ride height" is a little high in the front??
I think it should have a slightly lower stance at the front end - that big motor is heavy.

Friends, thank you for your nice words and support! It's really cool to watch the movie knowing that I have my own Eleanor in the shelf

John, that's a good question...The car is a little high because of the subframe connector I scratchbuilt and installed. I lowered the car a little, but I guess 1 or 2 millimeters more would have been perfect.

That subframe was really a nice touch Sam - you detailed under the car as well as what is seen from the top
Yeah Sam - the front ride height was not a criticism of your work - I was just asking what you thought - I have no reference for the "Eleanor" I just imagined it would be similar to the fords I saw as a youth here in the USA - those big 429 and 451 motors they would put in them would squat the fronts down.
I have a plan to do a GT350
I will "steal" from your ideas if that is okay Sam
Thank for replying
