new steering column
i recently installed a steering column in 1985 s10 blazer.the replacement had intermittent wipers, the old didnt. how do i get the intermittent to work.all that happens now is i get only high speed wipers and my washer fluid continuously runs.should wiper motor be changed also?thanx for any help

You should have compaired all the wire harneses, and you would have seen that (I think 2) are a little different. You'll have to take the under dash wire harness from the other truck, and possibly the fuse box to make it all work. I haven't compaired the wiper motor yet
I tried the same thing, and the wire harnesses inside the steering columb aren't compatable. I'm just changing everything back to stock, since I really don't want the hassle of changing over all the wiring Good luck |

On Wiper problems (a little above this thread) someone figures that there are 2 wiper motors, one just for intermitent.
