Re: 1/12 Ferrari 312 T
Forgot! I am planning to build the T too so I studied the oil/fuel systems of the actual car for several time, managing to draw them: let me know your e-mail if you need them.

Re: 1/12 Ferrari 312 T
Here's just a quick update showing the wheel nuts and assembly completed
First all the parts I made (the screw is the kit supplied unit) Screw the adaptor plate to the hub Glue the threaded hub to the adaptor and there you go, a working wheel nut assembly For the time taken making these parts it would almost have been easier just buying the excellent set available from Paul at Thunder Valley. But I needed two sets made and I have the machines.... Overall, I'm very happy with the outcome so it was worth all the effort! http://www.thundervalleyf1.com/main/...-spindle-sets/ Thanks again for following the build I'm back at work now so things will start to S..L..O..W down unfortunately

Re: 1/12 Ferrari 312 T
Hello Rob.
You milling and turning work is fantastic. Could you tell and show a lot more about the machines and tools you use to get to those results. I don't know very much about this subject, so a new "how-to-get-started" tread would be highly appreciated.

Re: 1/12 Ferrari 312 T
Nice adaptation of the kit parts and yours. Were you planning to paint the screw head black to reduce its visibility inside the axle? Or is there a cover over it? I enjoy following your threads and hope you dont mind if I use a few your tricks and techniques. I always seem to get new ideas after looking through a Robrex thread.

Re: 1/12 Ferrari 312 T
Th e funniest part is the other sunday i was at Robs while he was doin some work on the fairings on the kit. And he is no different than any other modeller as it got to around 4pm he started to drop the fairings he was sanding on the floor and bashing his head on a wooden beam after the 3rd fairing drop it was to call it for a day. what i see that makes him so good is he will give anything a go if it dont work (which most of the time it doe's for him lol) try again or a different way
