Opel Corsa 96 'Lights On' Alarm
I drive an Opel Corsa made 1996. Recently the Alarm, which goes off if lights are left on inadvertently, has ceased to work. I assume the activating switch is operated by opening the car door. The most likely thing - after checking fuses or alarm unit - is that the switch is dirty. Where exactly is the switch located? Where can I get a free download of a service manual?

I have discovered definitely that the problem is the relay. I have located the relay in question (it is relay GM 90464777) - grey in colour with grill through which alarm isupposed to sounds. Currently when I leave lights on and open door I hear the alarm attempting (but failing) to sound. I will get replacement. |
