Sun roof
The sun roof on my 99 Grand Am will not open or close. It will move about 1/2 inch but no more. I have installed a new switch but did not help. Any
ideas? |

Re: Sun roof
Havent seen many issues with a GA sunroof, but a monte carlo and impala sunroofs, ive had to replace the entire sunroof track/motor/position sensors. You might want to see if maybe theres something blocking the sunroof from opening, or possibly spraying some grease in the sunroof tracks, may help?

Re: Sun roof
Might just be stuck a little or out of adjustment .
Try bumping/pushing it up when you try and open it. I would leave the adjusting though to someone who has worked on these, as they can be a pita to work on.

Re: Sun roof
The same thing just happened to mine. Did you figure out how to fix it?
