Tom's Castrol Supra
Time to use Microsol and Set...
A box that was on my "wanted to build list" for far to long. Only thing that bothered me, was that once finished, it looks a bit toyish... So the box: Putty used for the gap between the hood vent, also removed the molded fasteners on the hood and trunk: Wanted some Pe goodies, but apparently they never made a Pe sheet for the Supra. After searching for a sheet, that i could use most of, i ended up buying the one for the Minolta 88 c-v from Tamiya. Think of the brake discs, wipers, fasteners, tire template etc, that all could be to good use on the Supra. Kit mesh vs. new mesh: Painted the body and other parts white, and added a fine layer of 2K for the decals: Decal time: Happy with how the decals turned out. Just need to touch up some small spots, before clearing them: Regards, Jurgen |
