S2000 engine in an Integra
alright, my friend has found a wrecked S2000 for 6,000 and we were talkin ya know, and we want to take the engine and tranny, driveshaft, diffrential, ya know all of that and we want to put it on an Integra, first of all would this be possible??, i think it would be and second would it be a good idea, cuz i mean i love the 6 speed manual, and he needs to leard to drive a stick yet, but he also said he wants a unique teg so i figured ya know, this would make it very unique, i have also posted this in the Integra forum for others to look at, please post your opinion about it!!

it's going to be more than 8-10 grand. And you have to make major modification to the integra frame to get the engine to mount right. (remember, the s2k engine is not a transverse engine, it mounts longitudinally) Good luck finding a shop that's willing to do it, because most won't due to liability from weakening the frame/mounts from such a custom swap....

I've said it before and ill say it again
ANYTHING is possible with money. But with the money you are going to spend on converting the intergra from front wheel to rear wheel drive is going to cost as much as getting a new s2000. Xv7vX

I think it's stupid ya know, and even if you spend all that money ya know, you can buy a better one ya know, stick with simple ya know, and don't be doing things that no one else has done ya know, because you're no professional ya know.
Oh yea i think v10_viper's sentence is still longer than mines YA KNOW.
