almost 240 km/h. I'm not sure how much mph that is.
It was racing on the motorway (with a bit of downhill help) against a Opel Kadett 2.0 litre 16v with digital instrumentation. As i was slowly gaining the lead by overtaking him i could read at his instrumentation that he was driving at 231 km/h. My car was a highly modded Golf II. Golf 1.9 litre 16 valve motor with Motorsport spec intake manifolds, exhaust system and pistons. About 160 bhp output. new Redline about 8.800 rpm.

In my G20, I hit 130mph, then slowed down becasue my then stock suspension felt very, mushy. Then, one time I was with my Dad in his Porsche, we hit roughly 150mph traveling to Las Vegas. Anyone who knows Utah, knows what the roads are like between here and Vegas

Last time i was going from here to vegas i was thinking that i would give ANYTHING for a Ferrari right about now, its a freaking long drive but not if you're going 150!!!! that must have been awesome. the fastest i've ever driven was 105 in my friends passat, it was at like 10 PM going south on I-15 with quite a bit of traffic, then i saw this white bronco with blue on the side with what i thought were roof racks, but as i got closer it was a sherrif, so i slammed on the brakes and got back in traffic, he didn't catch me though. i was really stupid to be going that fast with that many cars on the road. the fastest i've ever been while in a car was 117 mph.

90' 626 Turbo Vs. 94 Cougar V8
Last night i took on a 94' Cougar 4.6L V8 automatic (RWD) in my 90' Mazda 626 2.2L 4-cyl. standard shift (FWD) The Cougar had a computer mod that improved the RPM curve (tires squaked in 2nd gear) I am running all stock except for my exhaust (see mod below) Well, we both had a hell of a start, squealing tires all around. First through third i wound out the gears, fourth gear came and im running at about 3,000 RPM and all of the sudden my turbo kicks in. I had a jump on him like you wouldnt belive, from there on i only gained he never had a chance to catch up, i think both of us were stunned, i didnt expect to win that one. My one friend and the kid i raced thought it may be close but none of us expected me to come out that far ahead. It was a great experience, the adrenaline rush was unreal. Another one of my friends has a 95 or 96 Firebird V6 standard shift and he has been wanting to race me cuz i always would tell him whats the point cuz i would win, i may just have to take on the challenge after tonights victory.

First of all i have gone 118 in my 87' celica. in the process of making it faster as we speek:sun:. As for the MTX issue. 8000's are the way to go if you have the money or a good hook up. Unfortunetly to make full use of the 8000's you need power. With only 4 ohms 8000 12's go from 23-150 mhz, where as the 4000's only go 29-150 mhz. Now those are just retail figures but they are + or - 2 to 3 ohms corect. As jet said already it is the incloser though. I have seen 2-12" 8000's powered outthe ass but sounded like crap.

i had two 8000's before i switched to my momo's the 800's are much better subs then the 4000's most people just dont have enough balls in there amp to push them like they need to be pushed i have a 1000d mtx amp which is roughly 1000 watts rms not peak and that was just about right for two 8000's but not many people have amps that big they have 500 watt amps and to much speaker and get pissed say the speakers suck and as far as amps if your pushing two big subs get a mono block more bang for the buck

How much was the amp? i am considering updateing my two puny RF 10's to two 8000's. heres the best part, My brother works at Circuit city so they can get things at acomadations (Buying directly from the company). Now normaly the 8000's are 250 each, i can get them for $52 each. I love mooching off of other people.
