Air Intake Screen
Does anybody know how to take out the screen thats right after the airbox, in front of the MAF sensor, without destroying it?

Re: Air Intake Screen
as far as I know it is glued in. So if you want it out you will have to cut it out.

Re: Air Intake Screen
I took mine out because there was a link to a site on here that "showed how easy" it was. Ya, it's destroyed. I wont be puting that screen back in.

Re: Air Intake Screen
we took out the screen on the MAF sensor on my buddy's 98 S-10 and about a week later his motor crapped out on him. he had never had any engine problems with his truck until this incident. not saying that the 2 are related, but i sure am hesitant now to take out mine.

Re: Air Intake Screen
I just popped mine out w/a screwdriver, and have re-used it 2 times since then. All you gotta do is be verrrryyy careful.
