1970 Mercury Monterey Project
Hello,
I have a 1970 Mercury Monterey that has been sitting in a garage, unstarted, for 20 years. It has 25,000 original miles on it and I would like to restore it. I live in Chicago and am looking for a mechanic to do this work for me. Does anyone have any recommendations for this type of project. Also, does anyone have any idea of how much it will cost to get this car road worthy again? I learned how to drive in this car, it belonged to my father, and now I have a son approaching driving age and I thought it would be great to teach him how to drive with it. Thank you, Nik |
