Ferrari Enzo starting up and revved up to the limiter. There were about 20 people there and every single one of them jumped back from the sound.

I don't know - I was behind a Ferrari today and it sounded alot like a street-sweeper.

there is a big difference between how a 360 or a 575 sounds and what an Enzo sounds like.
the 550 at full throttle in a tunnel is nice but nowhere near the sound that the Enzo makes.

I would say the sound of an RB26DETT- but I've heard it too much- and it is no longer intimidating- I'll probably say the Ferrari 550 Maranello moving off from the lights at 6000 odd rpm

Any big capacity V12 revving through the gearbox, as long as it is fittted with a 'sports' exhaust. Can't beat it.

As of last Saturday, the Lamborghini Diablo GT! So loud and so powerful sounding coming from that legendary V12.

yesterday I was able to hear a 1967 Corvette L88 engine (a 427 ci, or 7L) on a test stand. I was standing right next to it...the straight pipes make it VERY loud. I couldn't hear a thing for a few seconds afterword. the only thing that comes close is the roar of the Prodrive Ferrari 550 at 8000+ rpm

Its a Tie

My Dad's completely rebuilt 1969 Mustang Mach1 with a fully built 351, and open pipes

and

The Dodge Viper that blew past me on the highway, I was doing 60, he was from the way it sounded, at wide open throttle.

I was behind a 550 barchetta in a tunnel when it downshifted to like 3rd when we already doing 100+ mph.. it was absolutely amazing. I cloud of smoke and it was gone. Probably pissed because I came up so close.. Than my friend has a 750 hp toyota supra with a t-88 single turbo conversion. He's pushin' like 40 lbs of boost. Its pretty nice, especially at full throttle.
