Bud Dwyer....
Forget postal... this is un-fucking-believable....
Had the crappiest morning in history, which fucking decided to turn itself into a giant fucking sandwich and make me take a bite. Drive 45 minutes to a client's office for a 9:00 am meeting... no client... Why? you ask... because the dumb fuck forgot to tell me that we were meeting at MY office (the first time ever). So then I go to get a whole bunch of stuff together for a big thing going on tomorrow... the most important file for the whole day is missing. Fucking POOF. Me: "EVERYONE DROP WHT THEY ARE DOING AND FIND THIS NOW. I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE BUSY BREATHING, THIS IS MORE IMPORTANT" Everyone "ok"... 3 minutes later (and I shit you not, 3 minutes, like this would take 3 minutes to do) they all come back one by one... "I dunno where it is". THEN, we pay all this money for a reference service that I also need for that meeting tomorrow and it's taken them 6 phone calls and 2 hours for them to tell me that somehow my subscription has expired 2 years ago even though they've cashed my checks for the same amounts for the last 5 years. Not sure if I'll go Osama or Dwyer, but if this headache or a heart attack doesn't kill me first, it'll be one or the other. |

All of a sudden, I'm not so enthusiastic about joining the career workforce.

Re: Bud Dwyer....
Its ironic because I've been at the stage in my life for the past 4 years or so where I can't wait to graduate with my final degree and finally get out and just worry about working. Things seem so busy right now with school, work, friends, g/f..etc that just having a good paying job seems good. I know I will regret this thinking soon enough, but it just seems like the better way to go.

Re: Bud Dwyer....
Yeah, everyone feels that way when they're IN school... LOLOLOLOLOLOL!
And actually, it DOES feel good for a while after you graduate and make some money, etc... It's just when you realize that your job is a pain in the ass that it all comes down on your head like an elephant turd from about 56 stories... lol. |

Re: Bud Dwyer....
Nice way of putting it. Thats one of the reasons I dumped a few pain in the ass clients a few years ago. One of them couldn't get the hint, even though I was charging $150 an hour to do taxes. I hate idiots.
