Rust spot on carpet

Anyone know of a good way to get rid of this? I've tried a few different cleaners, and none seem to do much. Any Ideas??

Re: Rust spot on carpet

Have you tried oxyclean ? I've used it on my sonoma which has the light grey carpet and it worked wonders for grease.

Re: Rust spot on carpet

I did. I also have light gray carpet and it did work wonders for a few grease spots. It actually worked wonders for everything except that rust spot. The carpet looks normal (not matted or stuck together)- just rust colored. I scrubbed the heck out of it, and it really didn't do much.

Re: Rust spot on carpet

Where do you buy that stuff- direct or from an auto parts store? Do you dilute it?

On another note- did you end up doing that throttle plate mod??

Re: Rust spot on carpet

Yea it worked well for a few days but now when i accelerate it like slumps back then continues the accelerate. I think i need to take off my tb space.

You need to dilute it, instructions are on the bottle. Try www.sparkleauto.com
