2001 Suspension Squeeks

My friend's 2001 Quest squeeks when it moves. You sit in it, you brake, you accelerate. They took it to a shop, and the shop said you can't just lube them anymore. They said that the struts probably needed to be replaced. Also, the temperature gauge's needle bounces around all over the place. They're only going to have it for 6 more months, so anything to just make it shut up and stop freaking out would be greatly appreciated.

Wink Get Rid Of That Squeek

This is an old fix but it usually works for a short time. You can spray a good rubber lube like DW40 or (brake fluid, very expesive) or a rust buster or a silicone spray where ever the struts or springs might be rubbing, or anything that squeeks for that matter.
