This is one of those shows I'm going to put on my future schedule. Looks exactly like the right fit for me. Nice work! I'd love to see more photo's if anyone has them.

Re: Ferrari Expo-Strictly 43rd Revival 2010
Probably duplicated, but more photos.
There are more than 100 photos, so I didn't edit the orders. Sorry for that, you just have scroll down to get to the model parts... The event is more than the model contest, this event is for car lovers!

Re: Ferrari Expo-Strictly 43rd Revival 2010
Great photos of the Expo. Thanks to all the Ferrari Club members who helped put this show on. Also special thanks to Continental Autosport Ferrari Maserati for giving us their dealership for the day. Alot of very nice cars were on display!!
Thank you all for bringing the superb models. I also love seeing the great builders from Mexico along with all the US builders. From Ramon, both Steve's, Mike, Kaz, Charbel, Paul, Carlos, John, Chuck and all the rest who brought models, thank's again. Thank you to Stradasports for helping with the "Best of show" award of $200.00!!! Also thanks to GTR modelers club, BMC Modelers website, ,Stradasports, Motorsport Collector and Scale Designs for sponsorship. Now its time to start planning for next year. It will be in late April 2011. As Steve said, this show is for sportscar lovers. Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2011-April 2010 Last edited by F1Tommy; 04-26-2010 at 04:59 PM. |

Re: Ferrari Expo-Strictly 43rd Revival 2010
Was an awesome show. I went but didnt really meet anyone unfortunatly, but I did see all the cars/models that I expected to see and it really helped push me to start putting more time into building. I will definatly attend next year and hopefully actually bring something with. Thanks Tom
ps nametags would have been nice lol

Re: Ferrari Expo-Strictly 43rd Revival 2010
Here is Kaz's Ferrari Expo update. He has been busy up in Seattle working on a big project at work.
I think the most work required on a 1/43rd model award should have gone to Spike for his Renaissance Mclaren F1 GTR. That thing looked very hard to build. http://kaz43.fotki.com/show/ferrarie...lcontest/2010/ Carrera Pan America cars will be the special theme in 2011 at Ferrari Expo. Ferrari Expo 2011 model Classes: Class 1 1/43rd road race/sportscar/Lemans/F1/Indy/FIA rally Class 2 1/24th road race/sportscar/Lemans/FIA rally Class 3 1/24th-1/25th-1/20th F1/Indy open wheel Class 4 1/6th-1/18th road race/sportscar/Lemans/F1/Indy/FIA rally Class 5 best model of show, all scales included( another big reward for this model next year) Until next April. your too kind Tom, you know I still have the Porsche 911 GT1 supoer kit as well, although I'm in zero mood to start that for awhile, but who knows but surprising, the kit went together fantastically, Renaissance did their homework on the kit, I think only the dashboard had to be thinned to be fit into the cockpit cheers, Steve
