buying to modify, 95/96 mx6 or 95 integra?

i'm going to be purchasing a car to basically strip and rebuild and i'm wondering between a 95/96 mx6 or a 95 integra. (these are the two that i have available to my price range right now) the mx6 is a turbo, the integra is a ls. both are manuals. what would be the ideal configurations for these? but at the same time most cost effective. i've had a 97 ford probe before and that was a lot of fun to tweak, and i've also had a 93 integra gsr. so i'm torn between a probe clone or a newer integra. any input appreciated. thanks
