I wanna paint my dash trim body color! Huh.
I have a 90 Accord, and I want to paint the trim on the dash, surrounding the stereo, ac and stuff, body color. Would this be stupid? The interior is tan, and the body is maroon. Also, would I need special primer for the plastic?

That URL has some dashboard trim paint. Or, you can buy some Krylon Fusion paint, which is specifically designed to stick to plastics. For a primer, I would go with Adhesion Promoter, made by Duplicolor. It can be used for plastics. |

I think that should look pretty cool. Although, being me, it would be a black and tan interior with the red outside.

Click,
http://files.automotiveforums.com/ga...hp?photo=14523 This is what I hope to get the interior of my Accord to look like soon. Hopefully I can get a better picture of it up soon, but this at least gives you an idea of what it should look like. |

By the way, the dash is black and the rest of the interior is tan-ish. I couldn't get a better pic sorry. What do you people think?

It will look good if you accent it chavo...like with the vents red too on the passenger side. Only one thing inside the car red will make it look tacky.
