What is the difference between a Barracuda and a Cuda'? Is the Cuda a trim package or something?

Re: cuda
They started calling a Barracuda a Cuda in like 1967, I think it was, and even the body changed on them. Just look at the body shape of the 1966 and then of the 1967 they look totally different.

Back then they were an A body car 1964- 1969 The Cuda came out in 1970 as an E body with the Lower performance version still called a Barracuda. Here are my Cudas. the convertible has the "Cuda" hood, A shaker was an option. The barracuda had the flat hood. See the grey car with the ornage hood. |

Yea i was thinking it was 1970. But I just knew the body changed big time between 1966 and 1967. I have a 1966 Barracuda and that body is shaped really different, it has alot more curves in it. I wish I had a picture of it. Well thats all I know.

1969 was the first year that Plymouth used the word Cuda.
