auto trans vs standard trans?

well looking at 87-88 mustangs and want to know how touchy the clutch and gas pedal on the manual are, (16 year old). also what trans would be better for everyday driving and racing at the strip and track once in a while?

Re: auto trans vs standard trans?

well what it comes down to is that an auto is easier to drive and a manual gets you more hp to the wheels. but a lil practice on a auto and its not any harder to drive than a auto. i prefer the manual myself, for both purposes. now i cant help u any on how touchy the pedals are.
