I'd throw in $700 extra for a Saab 9-3 Linear, or if I wanted a bit more power and roominess, a Subaru Impreza WRX sport-wagon.

Best speed out of a stock car? If thats what you meant then a Mustang would be high on the list.

I would agree about a mustang, for 4 grand more you could get a new mach 1 @ $29,000, 305 hp v8, that looks scary.

if i had that much money i would get a used car for 5000 then totaly customize it instead of spending 25000 on some nice stock car. i can buy one of those when i am rich and too old to work on it

WRX its fast, AWD and it's undeniably a better performer and much more reliable than most cars in it's price range
