Call the dealer for the correct model no but I believe it is PFK-6 or something. Not many spark plugs run good with the Q. It is a picky beast.

Should be specified in your owner's manual. Never use Bosch.

NGK or Nippon Denso Iridium spark plugs work best but Bosch will work as well. I've found the Japanese made spark plugs seem to last longer so I'd recommend spending the extra money on them. Any good auto parts store (Kragen, Autozone, Napa, Pep Boys, Car Quest) will have the correct part number for the plugs but most don't stock NGK or Denso plugs so you'll need to order them. Your local Infiniti dealer will most likely stock the plugs but you'll pay more if you buy them from the dealer. Expect to pay anywhere from $7-$11 per NGK or Denso Iridium plug dependent upon where you buy them.

Bosch will not work! Electrodes will break and ruin the engine!

Anyone can get a manual if your car didn't come with one used. Ebay usually has the smaller bible ones and www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti/ will allow downloads in Acrobat format, along with all TSB.

I'm running the Bosch spark plugs platinum +4 for a year and it worked well and smoothly so far. The car always started in cold weather (we had -28 degC or -18 DegF last winter in Montreal, P. Quebec) and it started without problems.

The problem is not the starting, but the electrodes breaking off into the cylinders. Then the car has starting problems.

Read the posts at NICO.

I used to run the BOsch plugs. I have been using them for 20 years. Never a problem. Not until I put them in the Q. Burned the electrodes off of one plug, and nearly ruined the injector. I almost was stranded, and nearly spent several hundred at the dealership. The plug nearly burned up the coil pack. The plugs had 60,000 miles on them. When I took them all out, nearly all the electrodes were half the original size. The Q will literally burn the electrodes off.

Trust me, change them out. The plugs are NGK, platinum, I don't remember the part number, but infinitipartsusa.com has them, for a good deal, and once you get the part number, do a search on eBay. I got a set of 8, for $42.00

I will still use Bosch, in other engines, though.

If you have hard starting in cold weather from fouled out plugs use a higher heat range plug.
I believe their was a service bulletin on that.
