2 questions re buying and selling
1. I'm looking at buying a 2000 Honda Civic DX. It's in beautiful condition, one owner, for $9500 (dealer).
It only has 10600 miles on it - the previous owner went to LMU, and apparently just garaged it most of the time she was there. Is it a bad thing to have so few miles? I'm, of course, going to have my mechanic check it out, but just trying to get a feel for general wisdom... 2. I'm trying to sell my '95 Buick via private party. At 121000 miles, body in good condition, it blue books at $1800. BUT, it has a very bad oil leak, transmission leak, and coolant leak. I'm thinking to sell it for ~$1000. I have a guy willing to buy it right this minute for $900. Is this too little? Should I hold out for more? |

Re: 2 questions re buying and selling
To fix all those problems are going to cost a lot of money. I would just take the $900 considering the fact that it's very hard to sell cars. I don't see anything wrong with having a car with few miles.
