ABS/Trac off/Shake
My 99 Grand Am GT started shaking pretty bad on the highway today, only at speeds above 55. When I got off the ABS and Trac Off lights came on. The Trac off light went out after turning the car off and back on but the ABS light is still on.
Is this a wheel bearing or something else related? |

Re: ABS/Trac off/Shake
Yes that sounds like you have a bad hub assy. You need to get the car scanned with a DTC scanner that is capable of reading the ABS brake codes. That way you will know which hub assy is bad. Another thing you can do is check the wiring to the speed sensors that are part of the hub assy.
