no power from battery to car

1995 avalon. Left key on all night. The battery died, it is only 6 months old held a good charge. Put battery back in and now no power anywhere to car.
No lights, at all, pulled plug from back of ignition switch and no power there either. Clean terminals on battery, good ground ..tried to jump start no change. Pulled the big fuse that says main engine and could not read any power on the terminals..please help

Re: no power from battery to car

bring battery in to be load tested by your auto parts place... they usually do it for free...

charge it up again & then go in... tell the counterperson to load test it after "being charged up"

battery only 6 months old? have receipt ready for a warranty-exchange just in case it failed the load test...

Re: no power from battery to car

found the problem, it is a 120 amp fuse labled alternator; that bolts into the main fuse/relay box under the hood. Problem is I can't seem to find one..any ideas would be appreciated...

Re: no power from battery to car

I'd have the alternator tested as well. Otherwise, you could just waste time finding an alt fuse only to blow it again due to a bad alt. Hope this helps!
