Unhappy 1999 Avalon XLS Front Passanger Side External Door Handle

Hello Friends
I have got a Avalon 99 and last week the Front Passanger Side External Door Handle broke and I checked with Toyota dealership and they told they charge 250 bucks to fix it. It is so expensive. Does anybody know what I need to do to fix it?

Regards

I had same problem and live in Houston as well. I'm no expert but don't think this is an easy fix. I ended up taking to a mechanic and paid about half the price.

It is an easy fix. It just takes time and patience. The toughest part is finding a matching color if it's not a chrome handle. It may be cheaper and faster to find a body shop that handles Toyotas.
