I could direct you to "good luck"

Tamiya used to make a kit of this car but today it is out of production

I found one at modelexpress last spring but they don't have anymore.

Ebay could be your last resort but be prepared to pay a lot. this kit is in very high demand.

I think Hasegawa made a 787 too but it's curbside without any engine detail.

Le Mans Miniatures made a Mazda 787 as well.

Their homepage.

For sale at Mafma, (at the bottom of the list) for 92 Euro.

Or try Spotmodel, they have excellent prizes (good service as well), but very little models in stock (email them to discuss availabilty of not-in-stock items).

That's a great car, I love driving that on Grand Turismo 3.

It was re-issued by Tamiya a couple of years back, so you may be able to track one down... I built it first time round and it was quite a nice kit as I recall.

You can still find the 787 and 787B if you look hard enough.

Hasegawa made the 787 but it has long been out of production and extremely rare. Believe it or not...you'll pay a higher premium for the Hasegawa curbside 787 than the Tamiya 787B. Or at least I did (or I got gouged on eBay)

Tamiya made the 787B, which has some significant detail differences to the 787 (like the front radiatior outlet, and the various openings on the side), and that's been out of production for a while too. It's not as rare, but it's still a pricey kit, especially since it is the car that won LeMans.

Also, I think SMS still makes the carbon fiber template and photoetched detail kit for this car. Good luck in your hunt.

Mazda 787

Check this out...

These are on eBay all the time. They often go for less than $20. Just be patient and don't buy the first one you find. K
